1,3 bis (aminomethyl)cyclohexane, an alicyclic diamine compound, is a colorless liquid at room temperature. As an epoxy curing agent, it hardens rapidly and is highly resistant to chemicals and yellowing. It is therefore in wide use in the fields of paints and coatings, and composite materials.
