Meta xylenediamine
MXDA, a colorless liquid at room temperature, is an aliphatic diamine with benzene rings incorporated in the molecular skeleton. Due to its characteristic chemical structure, use in epoxy, polyamide and urethane applications elicits unique performance. For more than 30 years, it has been in worldwide use in epoxy curing agents for paints and coatings. Epoxy curing agents using MXDA are characterized by low-temperature curability, and they increase the chemical and corrosion resistance of paints and coatings.
